Plan to attend the 2016 Global Biotechnology Week Breakfast. Canada is home to a vibrant biotech industry of more than 500 established and emerging companies. These companies are driving solutions for the challenges identified with global population growth including vaccines protecting against cancer, green chemicals offering options for environmental stewardship, and more sustainable farming practices to secure food supply. It is an industry of great diversity with an array of entities including large, multinational companies as well as numerous small and medium sized companies.

MassBio is pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Patient Advocacy Summit This event brings industry leaders together with patient advocates and other stakeholders to examine ways in which life sciences companies can more fully incorporate the patient voice into the work they do— not just approaching regulatory applications or at commercialization, but throughout the drug development cycle. The day-long event will include panel discussions, case study presentations (spotlighting industry/patient partnerships), a keynote address, and awards ceremony, as well as a networking breakfast, lunch and cocktail reception. Expected attendance is 180 participants in person and an additional online streaming audience of 50+ patient advocacy professionals, patient organizations and other stakeholders.
